Experience

I earned my bachelor's in the field of Secondary Education at the University of Missouri and my law degree at Washington University. Since college, I have worked teaching high school students and those at the post-secondary level for seven years. Subjects I have experience teaching include Psychology, History, World Religions, English, and Government. Two fields I feel most comfortable in are Writing and Reading Comprehension, and I am able to assist students as they prepare for standardized exams like the SAT, ACT, and GRE. I myself earned a score in the 98th percentile when I took the LSAT and have developed many test-taking strategies and techniques that I am eager to pass on to my students. One of those strategies is using logic to break down the potential answers and determine which one is correct. I get a lot of fulfillment from helping students achieve their academic goals, but I can also assist in simply filling in knowledge gaps in material that a student is studying for school. In my free time, I enjoy tennis, reading, and watching baseball.
