Experience
I am a proud degree seeker at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in elementary education because I love helping others process new information. Currently, I am working on my certification to work with elementary and middle school students. However, I have taught all ages, as well as a range of subjects. I have also served as an assistant and an instructor. Everyone has a different way of learning, thus, I try to make my approach versatile. I have experimented with visual, auditory, and tactical teaching styles. I have taught algebra 1, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, anatomy, biology, ACT, reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, American history, European history, government, psychology, study skills and organization, special education, geography, philosophy, physical science, pre-algebra, public speaking, sociology, ACT reading, ACT English, test prep, math, social studies, science, and English.Outside of my teaching and studying, I love volunteering as a literacy advocate. I am also a reading enthusiast who loves baking and racing along the roadways of Saint Louis, Missouri. In fact, I ran my first half marathon not too long ago.
